SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE

NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN

 

Sleep In Heavenly Peace is a national non-profit organization that provides a bed for families in need for their child.  The SHP motto says that “No kids sleeps on the floor in our town,” but we want to make OUR town EVERYONE’S town.  It takes the community to get involved and help their own.  SHP provides the opportunity for Volunteers to do just that and we at First Methodist help support that.  Our Lake City Chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace helps provide beds to children in Lake City, and Columbia County.  We have bed builds and we would love for anyone to volunteer to help us.  If you would like to volunteer, make a cash donation, sponsor a build, or donate pillows, blankets, or bed linens please contact the church office at 386-752-4488 for more information.  You can also visit the SHP website at https://shpbeds.org or scan the QR Code below for more information.
