Worship Leader/Youth Pastor

Summary

Our desire is to have a worship ministry and Youth pastor whose focus on ministry is spiritually grounded, vibrant, dynamic, developmentally aimed at disciple making and life changing.

Qualifications:

A deeply committed Christian faith, a genuine spirituality and a loving personality.
Experience in a role of ministry to youth and families.
Terrific people skills especially working with a variety of people and volunteers.
Able to work as a team player supporting and encouraging other staff.
Skilled in creatively implementing and working with volunteers and staff in introducing creative programs and learning activities for a variety of people.
Hard-working and creative self-starter who enjoys the opportunity to develop a strong ministry to youth and families.
One, who has a caring attitude, is trustworthy, on time and reliable.
Willingness to grow in his/her field of expertise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and coordination for a Youth Sunday Program including Sunday school and volunteering in service.
Provide leadership and coordination of the mid-week activities and programming for our youth.
Provide leadership and coordination of a balanced youth program that provides fun, fellowship, mission, and spiritual learning experiences for our youth.
To give leadership for the worship and musical programs of the church.
To lead the choir on Sundays, and other services.
To play an instrument to add to the worship team.
To provide leadership in the development of music and worship activities such as children’s choir and cantatas.
